Week #3 must have proven to be a little easier, because we have several winners! However, one was pretty much right on the money. Mrs. Smith said:
"Ok, after much thought and deliberation, I think it is a photo taken just under the ridge of a cherry flavored Dum Dum sucker. : )"
It was strawberry flavored (my favorite!), but yes, it is indeed a red Dum Dum lollipop. And no, I did not eat it after taking the shot. I threw it away.
Germaphobe here, sorry.
This week, you get a twofer! A two for one special. Two photos, one guess. *grin*
I think these are pretty easy, so I'm sure someone will get it fast. Will it be you? Can you outsmart my macro?
Good luck!

I don't even want to guess. A Dum Dum sucker? Seriously, now -- who is Mrs. Smith and HOW did she know that?
You're starting to scare me with that macro. ;o)
Its an area rug... right?
Tree bark!!
I say tree bark also. The second one even looks like it might have some feathers in it
I'm guessing a bathroom area rug. It really looks weird though!
It looks like some dead or dying tree bark.
Let's see now. It isn't a bird. It isn't a plane. It isn't superman. I think it is some kind of cleaning pad like one of those swiffer thingies.
It is a burnt log that has been left outside for a long time.
I'm thinking a burnt piece of wood.
I think it looks like tree bark too!
I would like to thank the academy for the MM dum dum sucker award...thank you, thank you...lol!
OK, this week I am thinking you took a pic up close of the tree bark on some of those really cool trees with the spindly roots. : )
I think it's tree bark, too, but I see nails in it...not that there can't be nails in a tree, I guess....
tree bark
I'm guessing it's a trained chimpanzee navigating a satellite through space using a highly tuned remote control that is specifically designed for use by primates...
...but that's only because I actually know what it is.
