Antique
The chair in this photo is the only thing I could come up with that is antique. I'm not quite sure of the story behind it. It is one of a pair of chairs that my grandparents gave to my parents. Whenever they buy a new house, they'll reupholster the chairs and use them but until then, the chairs have a home with us. They did reside in our living room until we got our second dog, Molly, and Molly decided that the legs tasted pretty darn good. I was REALLY mad, but somehow, my mom was not! I guess that's just the grandma thing going on, even if her only "granddaughters" are dogs. *sigh* Sooo, the chairs are now sleeping in our converted garage room for the time being. Boring photo, I know, but I hope you enjoy my "antique" anyway! (P.S. I DID want to take a picture of my husband's boss and use that, but, well, you know how that goes.) ;o)

What a pretty chair! I like the way the pattern in the fabric follows the shape of the back of the chair.
They don't make furniture like they did in the old days, that's for sure.
Great choice - beautiful chair.
Have a great weekend!
Mine's up!

This is really an unusual chair and very beautiful... I think it a much better choice than your husband's boss. You never know who's reading your posts....do you! ;)

Beautiful chair and photo, although your husband's boss would have made for a really interesting photo as well :o) Our furbabies always cause so much trouble, but we can't help but love them anyway.
P.S. I like your blog. Your layout is really pretty.
Crystal - this picture of a chair is just perfect for this week's antique theme. And may I add - it is beautiful...
Blessings on your Sunday afternoon.
I love your story which comes with the chair! Without it it would be a boring photo of a beautiful chair. This is not boring at all, the combination is great!!
PS - Yeah, your husband's boss would be walking next to his shoes if you had put his photo up... ;)
